Backstepping Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Control for PMSM With Finite-Time Disturbance Observer

Aiming at the speed regulation problem of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives, a novel backstepping nonsingular terminal sliding mode control (BNTSMC) method with finite-time disturbance observer (FTDO) is proposed. In order to ensure excellent tracking and anti-disturbance performance, controller based on equivalent model recursive principle designed for PMSM. The benefits this approach are that has asymptotic stability design, convergence, strong robustness matched control. Then, further improve designed, it used estimate mismatched external in drive system. system also proved Lyapunov criterion. Finally, experimental results show proposed advantages fast convergence against parameter variations disturbance.
